Alice of Wonderland Family Festival
Step through the looking glass for a family festival inspired by our exhibition Another Wonderland: Abram Champanier’s Alice Mural. Explore Alice’s journey through New York in a day filled with family-friendly artmaking, activity stations, and musical performances. Finish the day by joining a children’s Mad Hatter parade through the Museum.

| 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Mad Hat Making Design and decorate your own whimsical Wonderland-inspired hat using colorful craft materials, ribbons, stickers, and imaginative accessories. |
| 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Teacup Decoration Decorate teacup and teapot-inspired art pieces using wooden stencils and decorative art materials. In this Wonderland-inspired activity, teacups are adorned with bright colors, patterns, and other motifs from the exhibition. |
| 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Card Soldier Creation Create your own card soldier inspired by classic playing card suits worn by characters featured in artist Abram Champanier’s mural. Draw, decorate, cut, and assemble your custom character using cardstock templates and art supplies. |
| 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Another Wonderland Puzzle Station Explore art in a whole new way at our Puzzle Station, where children and families can piece together two artworks featured in Another Wonderland. Available for purchase in the Museum Shop on the 1st floor. |

Children of all ages are welcome to join the Museum festival. Activities are designed for children ages 3+ and their grownups, though we welcome visitors of all ages to take part.
The Museum has a main entrance located at 1220 Fifth Avenue. The Museum’s accessible ramp entrance is available on East 104th Street between Fifth and Madison Avenues.
Yes. Stroller parking will be available to all guests on the day of the program.
Kids’ guides are available at the Museum’s volunteer desk on the 1st floor and in each of the associated exhibitions to support children and their grownups in exploring our exhibitions.
Yes—all participating guests, including children, should be included when you purchase your tickets online.
