Freedom Week: A Journey into Art & Activism

Freedom Week written in colorful letters on a black background.

What does it mean to be free? How do artists, writers and musicians help us imagine how freedom looks, sounds, and feels?

Join us for the Museum's first-ever Freedom Week: A Journey into Art & Activism from June 11th - June 17th. We invite you to experience art in its many forms — from visual art and theater to spoken word & poetry, dance, music, and song — and to consider its role in the ongoing pursuit of justice, equality, and freedom for all.

Freedom Week is presented in conjunction with the tenth anniversary of our ongoing exhibition, Activist New York.
