Educator Day: Wellness and Health Advocacy

In this free day for educators, participate in workshops that take a holistic look at health and wellness in the city today and explore what health has meant to New York communities.

The day will begin with an Interactive Keynote with Kiki Williams, a registered yoga instructor and facilitator for Bent On Learning, a nonprofit organization committed to teaching yoga to New York City public school children.

This exciting day includes workshops and experiences led by:

  • Anthony Salandy, Ph.D., Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center
  • The Edible Academy at the New York Botanical Garden
  • Amy Zanoni, Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Fellow in History Education, on Health Activism and Advocacy
  • And more!

The Museum is CTLE certified. Participation in this program provides 5 hours of CTLE credit.

Free. Registration required. Guests welcome.
