The Museum of the City of New York's Gala: Gotham Dreams

On June 17, 2026, the Museum of the City of New York will spotlight the history, art, popular culture, and vibrant spirit of the greatest city in the world. Honoring Laurie M. Tisch, civic leader and visionary philanthropist; Alex Rodriguez, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of A-Rod Corp and Co-Chairman, Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx; Ja Rule, Grammy-nominated artist and entertainer; and Kathryn Wylde, for her leadership at Partnership for New York City, Gotham Dreams celebrates individuals whose work has profoundly shaped New York City. Hosted by award-winning actor Erich Bergen, the gala will bring together 600 of New York’s leading investors, artists, civic leaders, and changemakers to celebrate the power of creativity and community and showcase MCNY’s remarkable collection of ephemera that captures the city’s ever-evolving story.
