NYC Discovery Lab October – Civics in NYC
Join us on weekends in October as we dive into the power of civic engagement in NYC. Inspired by our exhibition Changing the Face of Democracy: Shirley Chisholm at 100, we will explore how New Yorkers have shaped the city by making their voices heard through voting and community action with drop-in activities for kids ages 5-12 and adults!
Dates: Every Saturday and Sunday in October
Time: Drop-in anytime between 11am-4pm
This month at the Discovery Lab explore the civic process by taking a closer look at Brooklyn-born politician Shirley Chisholm’s campaign posters from her historic presidential run in 1972.
