Mural Mania

New York City is known for vibrant public murals that line the city’s buildings. Learn about some of the community murals located here in East Harlem and across the city by exploring the exhibition Art in the Open: Fifty Years of Public Art in New York. Then make your mark on our collective mural painting!

Family programs are free with Museum admission and for Members, and geared toward families with children ages 6–12 years old. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.

Registration suggested, but not required.
