2023 Spring Symposium & Luncheon

On June 7, 2023, the Museum of the City of New York presented the City of Design Award to Naeem Khan at our annual Spring Symposium & Luncheon. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception, a look at some of Naeem Khan’s most fabulous looks, and a luncheon.

ABOUT THE NAEEM KHAN

Naeem Khan is an Indian American fashion designer based in New York City. His work is influenced by the beauty of India- its culture, architecture, and history. He has worked closely with his generational family factory and continues to expand beyond clothing, and he is able to bring aspects of his culture to western sensibility through art, cooking and interior design.

Naeem Khan started his career working for the iconic designer Halston when he moved to the US at the age of 18. He is a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and his clothes are worn by some of the most important women in the world such as the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, Michelle Obama, Queen Noor of Jordan, Beyonce, Taylor Swift and many others. Today, his clothes can be found in over 225 high-end stores across the world.
