Wet Water Lab

When: Wednesday, August 8, 11:00am – 2:00pm

What’s in your water? Join us for an exploration of our major water sources, the ways we use water, and filtration systems in the city. Get hands on and learn to apply scientific theory in a mini experiment. Compare pH levels of tap water and water from the Harlem Meer. Document your findings like a scientist to take home with you!

Family programs are free with Museum admission and for Members, and geared toward families with children ages 6–12 years old. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.

Registration suggested, but not required.

Family and Community Engagement Programs are made possible in part by the Milton and Sally Avery Arts Foundation; Sy Syms Foundation; Lone Pine Foundation; and Louis Wiley, Jr.
The Frederick A.O. Schwarz Education Center is endowed by grants from The Thompson Family Foundation Fund, the F.A.O. Schwarz Family Foundation, the William Randolph Hearst Endowment, and other generous donors.
