On Saturday, November 30th, commemorate the centennial of the birth of Shirley Chisholm! Join us for a day filled with inspiration and hands-on fun to celebrate Chisholm's life and legacy.

- Immerse yourself in interactive storytime sessions that brings Chisholm's remarkable life to light (1:00 - 1:30 p.m. and 3 - 3:30 p.m.)
- Explore Changing the Face of Democracy: Shirley Chisholm at 100 through an "Ask a Curator" session with Sarah Seidman, Puffin Foundation Curator of Social Activism at MCNY (2:00 - 3:00 p.m.)

Join us for drop-in activities for ages 5-12 as we celebrate the winter season in New York City! Examine historical objects, learn about the festive winter traditions of New Yorkers past and present, and craft a paper gingerbread cookie. 11am-4pm, every Saturday and Sunday in December.
