- Gingerbread NYC: The Great Borough Bake-Off: Presents gingerbread displays by amateur and professional bakers on the theme of “Iconic New York." Through January 19, 2026
- The Stettheimer Dollhouse in a New Light: Marvel at this beloved, miniature mansion adorned with avant-garde works by artists including Marcel Duchamp, Marguerite Zorach, and George Bellows. Through January 19, 2026
- Urban Stomp: Dreams & Defiance on the Dance Floor: Discover the vibrant dances that have shaped—and been shaped by—the city’s ever-changing cultural landscape. Through February 22, 2026
- Robert Rauschenberg’s New York: Pictures from the Real World: Features rarely seen photos that reveal Rauschenberg's deep engagement with the real world and his complex relationship with New York City. Through April 19, 2026
- You Are Here: An Immersive Film Experience: Draws on this rich archive of movies set in New York, combining thousands of cinematic moments across 16 screens. Through January 19, 2026
- Songs of New York: 100 Years of the City through Music: An immersive interactive experience that introduces visitors to a full range of music from and about New York City. Through February 8, 2026

The Museum is also launching a new Print Shop, which allows the public to print on demand from a curated selection of objects from the MCNY collection—making it easier than ever to bring a piece of New York history home. The Museum’s selection of holiday ornaments is widely considered the best at any museum in the five boroughs, featuring best-selling classics and exciting new arrivals.

What To Do
- Gingerbread NYC Community Day—Saturday, December 6 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm: Ring in the holiday season with a family day featuring hands-on gingerbread cookie decorating and holiday-themed activities. Register here.
- Holiday Market—Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7 from 10:00am to 5:30pm: Tis the season for celebrations and gifting! The Museum will partner with Brooklyn Pop-up to celebrate artisans, designers, and makers from across the 5 boroughs. No registration required.
- Educator Evening: Winter in the City Celebration—Wednesday, December 17 at 4:30pm: Join us for a festive evening dedicated to celebrating the incredible educators who have engaged with our programs throughout the year. Register here.
