The Museum of the City of New York invites children ages 5-12 to our hands-on art making series, Art in the City. These sessions are inspire by the range of materials used by artists in our centennial show, This is New York: 100 Years of the City in Art and Pop Culture.
For Spring Break, MCNY partners with The Giant Room to bring drop-in STEAM activity stations on Monday April 10, Tuesday April 11, and Wednesday April 12 from 11am – 2pm each day!

In this virtual workshop, students will hear from multidisciplinary artist Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya and examine the resiliency of New York's Asian American and Pacific Islander community and their solidarity across past and present activist movements through the stories of Yuri Kochiyama and Malcolm X.
