Licensing with MCNY
The Museum of the City of New York is the first city museum in the United States. Located at the top of Museum Mile across from Central Park, the Museum of the City of New York has been New York City’s storyteller for nearly a century. With more than 750,000 objects in our collection and having mounted hundreds of exhibitions, our shows range from Jackie Robinson’s early years to Stanley Kubrick’s photography, NYC’s iconic skyline to LGBTQ+ stories, the history of street art to NYC’s 80’s downtown music scene. The Museum of the City of New York’s content is developed of, by, and for New Yorkers in the greater 5 boroughs -- and for New Yorkers at heart around the globe. Proceeds from the Museum’s licensing benefits preservation of our collection, programs, and digital experiences that extend the Museum’s content to our greater community.
