Gotham Dreams

Each spring, the Museum of the City of New York gathers over 600 of New York’s most influential executives, philanthropists, celebrities, and community leaders who share a deep love for our city at our annual Gotham Dreams gala. On June 17, 2026, the Museum will celebrate the people, places, and ideas that shape our iconic city, while raising funds to support the Museum’s public access initiatives, including free admission for all New Yorkers and children under the age of 18. The evening will spotlight MCNY's current exhibitions, as well as an incredible class of honorees who embody the spirit, resilience, and boldness of New York City.

Junior Board Fall Benefit

MCNY’s Junior Board is a leadership committee geared towards young patrons, under the age of 40, who have made New York City their home. This group of professionals, from industries including finance, marketing, tech, arts & culture, and more, is dedicated to the mission of the Museum and serves as a platform for the next generation of supporters.  

The Junior Board hosts an annual benefit every September. The benefit hosts over 500 guests and features an open bar, fantastic DJ sets, dancing under the stars, and NYC culture in our exhibitions. Save the date for the 2026 Benefit on Friday, September 25, 2026.
