Gumdrops on toothpicks and gingerbread fixin’s
Bridges and buses and sugary mittens...
The scent of gingerbread fills the air in this magical holiday field trip that explores the wonder of New York City re-imagined by bakers from across the five boroughs.
Students will explore over 20 gingerbread creations of NYC landmarks designed by bakers from all five boroughs. Including bridges, libraries, rooftops, and more, students will learn stories from across the city and search for sweet surprises in a child-friendly scavenger hunt activity filled with fascinating facts. Inspired by the gingerbread creations on display, students will then decorate their own NYC landmark-inspired building to take home—a sweet blend of creativity and city pride!
