Richard Renaldi

Richard Renaldi was born in Chicago in 1968. He received a BFA in photography from New York University in 1990. He is represented by Benrubi Gallery in New York and Robert Morat Galerie in Berlin. Five monographs of his work have been published, including Richard Renaldi: Figure and Ground (Aperture, 2006); Fall River Boys (Charles Lane Press, 2009); Touching Strangers (Aperture, 2014); Manhattan Sunday (Aperture, 2016); I Want Your Love (Super Labo, 2018). He was the recipient of a 2015 fellowship from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.

Geralyn Shukwit

Geralyn Shukwit is an artist whose work explores the relationship between people and their environmental landscape. Her long-term photography projects span from New York to Brazil, where she intimately reveals these connections through her visual approach of blending documentary and fine art photography.

Geralyn’s photographs have been exhibited in the United States, Spain and Ethiopia; published in National Geographic, Progresso Fotografico, BIG Magazine, Edge of Humanity and by Blue Sky Gallery. She is a winner of the Julia Margaret Cameron Award, Photolucida 2022 Critical Mass Top 50, AI/AP Latin American Fotografîa,  APA/NY and International Photography Awards (IPA) and was nominated for the Henri Cartier-Bresson Award in 2019. 

Laila Annmarie Stevens

Laila Annmarie Stevens (b. 2001) is a Black Queer Photographer and Visual Artist from Queens, NY currently pursuing her BFA at The Fashion Institute of Technology. Their portraiture is informed by their passion for honoring marginalized youth voices and embracing the fullness of Black life through the creation of a digital safe space. Their work could be described as a raw and intimate perspective. Through her early work in youth organizations, she’s incorporated image-making to envision a world of inclusion and power. Her work has been frequently published in The New York Times Metropolitan Section, National Geographic, The Nation, The Salt Lake Tribune, i-D, and Cultured Magazine among other publications. She is a recipient of the 2020 Magnum Foundation Fund: US Dispatches Award for her coverage of Youth First-Time Voters during the 2020 National Election, student of the Eddie Adams Workshop Class of XXXIV, a full-time member of Black Woman Photographers, Diversify Photo, and Scope of Work, a talent agency for creatives aged 17-24, in New York, N.Y.

Joana Toro

Joana Toro is a self-taught Colombian photographer based in both New York City and Bogota, Colombia. Her work explores issues of immigration, human rights, and identity. Joana has been featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, World Press Photo Witness, Open Society Foundations, and Photoword China Magazine, among others. 

In 2019, she published her second monograph, “Hello I Am Kitty” (Tragaluz, Colombia, 2019) this project was included in the public collection of the Library of Congress in D.C.

Her work has been exhibited in international photo festivals all over the globe: Les Femmes s’exposent in France, Photoville in New York, Guate Photo in Guatemala, Just Another Festival in India, the International Photography Festival in Pingyao, China.

 In 2020 Joana received the Eyewitness Photojournalism Grant by The Pulitzer Center and Diversify Photo and a National Geographic COVID-19 Emergency Fund grant for journalists.

Linda Troeller

Linda Troeller’s photographs focus on women and community issues. For 20 years she made the Chelsea Hotel her base - “Living in the Chelsea Hotel,” was published in 2015 by Schiffer, won the International Photo Award, and was exhibited at Leica Gallery, LA in 2019. The Museum of Sex, NYC, just presented “Self-Power | Self Play - 50 Years of Erotic Portraiture.” Aperture published her ‘Pictures of the Year Award’ in “Healing Waters,” and powerHouse Books published “Spa Journeys,” 2004. Her book, “Erotic Lives of Women,” Scalo, Zurich, 1998 was reviewed by the NYTimes as one of the “most gutsy and imaginative books of the decade,” followed by “Orgasm,” Daylight, 2014. She won ‘Woman of Achievement’ from Douglass College for her TB-AIDS Diary photo-collages. Her archives are at Bryn Mawr College, Syracuse University, and WVU Museum of Art. TBW will publish an art book of her self-portraits in November 2023.

Nolan Trowe

Nolan Trowe is a multidisciplinary artist from California. His work has been published, exhibited and recognized internationally. The most recent of his many honors is being a Magnum Foundation Photography and Social Justice Fellow.
