Classroom

Education programs produced by the Museum of the City of New York’s Frederick A.O. Schwarz Education Center utilize exhibitions and our incomparable collections to make the city’s history compelling and accessible to young people, serving nearly 50,000 students each year. Education is at the core of the Museum's mission, and our Frederick A.O. Schwarz Education Center offers a slate of education programs designed specifically for children from the five boroughs. Participants explore the city’s unfolding story and their own place in it. Curricula are project-based, hands-on, and interactive.
