As the Museum of the City of New York celebrates its centennial this year in 2023, it is thrilled to launch a new event-driven committee of young professionals called the Director's Circle.
As the next generation of New York City’s leaders, the Director’s Circle guides and invests in the future of the Museum. This new leadership circle:
- Participates in special events, exclusive NYC experiences, and engaging conversations with curators, business leaders, and the art world.
- Contributes to the Museum's efforts to ensure that the vibrant history of the world's most influential metropolis is shared in innovative ways with ever-growing, diverse local, national, and international audiences.
- Brings enthusiasm and creative ideas for bridging the gap between the Museum’s mission and the young professionals of NYC.
The Museum stands firm in our commitment to being the city’s storyteller and wants to include your unique stories, perspectives, and ideas in our story.

Over 275 guests celebrated 100 years since the Museum's founding! Our birthday celebration featured cocktails at our open bar, NYC-themed bites, dancing under the stars, and the unveiling of our newest exhibition, This Is New York, about NYC in film, tv, music, fashion, and pop culture.

Over 400 guests sipped on cocktails at our open bar, enjoyed the sounds of the world-famous DJ FLO, danced the night away under the stars, and experienced NYC culture in our exhibitions.
