The Dodgers played their last game at Ebbets Field on Tuesday night, September 24, 1957. Only 6,702 fans attended.

"My Dad took me to the last Sunday game at Ebbetts Field. I was about 5 years old. He also took me to the old Yankee Stadium (many times) and to the Polo Grounds (for the Giants and Mets). The only thing I remember about the game at Ebbetts was seeing an empty whisky bottle roll under our seats late in the game and my Dad hustling me out of there soon after."
