"My father got tickets to this game, and took me(age 10), my brother(5), sister(8) and my mother. We were Giants fans, except for brother Doug, who liked the Yankees, and was probably switched at birth. Although we didn't like the Dodgers, as National League fans we hated the Yankees. We all (including his mother and father) rode my brother the whole game. It was a pre-PC time. Finally, the people in the next box took pity on Doug and invited him to sit with them, where he watched the rest of the game. The last batter was Dale Mitchell, a pinch hitter. He took a 3 and two pitch for a called strike. It was outside."
