Glamour, New York Style celebrates the city’s distinctive spin on glamour with an extravaganza of costumes and images drawn principally from the Museum’s permanent collection. The exhibition highlights the people, events, and styles that have made New York City the glamour capital of the country. Among the exhibition’s fifty couture gowns are works by Worth, Chanel, Mainbocher, Dior, Halston, Vionnet, and Balenciaga.

Glamour, New York Style is made possible by the Laura S. Johnson Estate, The Coby Foundation, Elaine Murray Adley, Northern Trust, Steven Bluttal, and Patina-V.
