Students from three neighborhood middle schools--The Young Women's Leadership School, The Tito Puente Performing Arts Academy, and the Manhattan Institute for Academics and Visual Arts--present their vision for the future of East Harlem. This installation of Neighborhood Explorers features the students' solutions, developed during a ten-week program at the Museum of the City of New York, to what has often been considered an unsafe and unattractive barrier across the middle of the neighborhood--the Park Avenue railroad viaduct.
