Still New York is Frederick Brosen's first solo museum exhibition in New York. Featuring eighteen watercolors ranging in size from small studies to large sheets, the exhibition coincides with the publication of Brosen's first book of watercolors, also entitled Still New York (Vendome Press).

Brosen's paintings, meticulously delineated and sparkling with color and light, are remarkable for the chronicle they provide of the city around us. Built up of layer upon layer of transparent colored washes, they depict the city's most celebrated towers and its forgotten industrial corners, and everything in between.

Lead funding for Still New York: Watercolors by Frederick Brosen is provided by Bruno A. Quinson.  Additional support comes from Mary E. Reilly and an anonymous donor, and from other generous individuals.
