A look at New York through the eyes of performer and photographer Joel Grey.

Joel Grey / A New York Life examines the enduring impact that Joel Grey and his adopted city have made on each other. The exhibition includes posters, memoribilia, and costumes from Grey’s iconic productions, combined with a selection of his New York City photographs. Together, they dramatize how the breadth of his artistic work has been nurtured and inspired by his life in New York City.

Joel Grey / A New York Life has been made possible in part with the generous support of Agnes Gund, James A. Lebenthal, the May and Samuel Rudin Family Foundation, Daryl Roth, and an anonymous donor.
