Sculpting Like a Silversmith

Try your hands at sculpting with metals! Visit the exhibition New York Silver, Then and Now to explore the rich history of silversmithing in New York City. Get inspired by newly commissioned works by leading metalworkers, created in response to historical objects from the Museum’s collection, then learn some metalwork techniques to create metal craft of your own! 

Family programs are free with Museum admission and for Members, geared toward families with children ages 6-12 years old, and include a snack. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.
