Rising Waters 2.0: More Photographs of Sandy
On view from Thursday, December 26th through Monday, March 31st

When the City Museum held an open call for Hurricane Sandy images a few months back, over 900 photographers, amateur and professional alike, submitted their work for possible inclusion. Since only a select number of those photos are displayed in the Rising Waters: Photographs of Sandy exhibition, the Museum will now hold a special viewing of some of the other submissions. Rising Waters 2.0 will be a presentation of never-before-seen Superstorm Sandy images from 400 photographers. These powerful images demonstrate the hurricane's impact on the New York region. Only on display for one week, the viewing will be in conjunction with the Rising Waters: Photographs of Sandy exhibition.
