Kwanzaa Family Celebration
When: Tuesday, December 26, 11:00am – 2:00pm
Price: Free with Museum admission
Celebrate Kwanzaa by making a Mkeka placemat to learn about this African-American holiday. Use symbolic colors and discover their meaning as you weave a personalized piece to represent the holiday season. Enjoy a special snack while you create your placemat. All are welcome!
Family programs are free with Museum admission and for Members, geared to families with children ages 6-12 years old, and include a snack. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.
Registration suggested but not required.
