Design a Logo for New York

In the 1970s, New York was going through some hard times. Crime was at an all-time high and tourism was at an all-time low. Milton Glaser helped to change public perception of the city and the entire state with a seemingly simple logo – “I ♥ New York.” Explore the origins of this widely recognized logo in World City, 1898-2012. Then create your own logo for the city inspired by all that you love about New York!
Family programs are free with Museum admission and for members, geared to families with children ages 6-12 years old, and include a snack. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.
