About the Author Bonnie Yochelson, who was curator of prints and photographs at the Museum of the City of New York from 1987 to 1991, is currently the Museum's consulting curator. She has written extensively on New York photography, including essays in New York to Hollywood: The Photography of Karl Struss and Pictorialism into Modernism: The Clarence H. White School of Photography, and teaches the history of photography at the School of Visual Arts, New York. She recently won a NationalEndowment for the Humanities grant to complete a book on Jacob Riis. She lives in NewYork City with her husband and two daughters. Return to Berenice Abbott main page |
